Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of theproudlondon.co.uk and any purchase you make. By placing an order you agree to them. We sell to consumers for personal use.

Every piece is handmade in Nepal from natural hemp and organic cotton. Because they are hand-loomed and naturally dyed, slight variations in colour, weave and dimensions are normal and are part of each item’s character — not defects.

Prices are in GBP (£). TheProudLondon is not VAT registered, so no VAT or sales tax is added at checkout; shipping is shown separately at checkout. We may correct obvious pricing errors before dispatch. An order is accepted once payment is confirmed and you receive an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order (with a full refund) for stock, pricing or fraud-prevention reasons.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We don’t store your card details. By paying you confirm you’re authorised to use the payment method.

Codes are valid per their stated terms (value, minimum spend, dates and usage limits), can’t be combined unless stated, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn at any time.

We ship worldwide on a DAP/DDU basis (Delivered At Place / Delivered Duty Unpaid). Standard delivery is typically 3–9 working days and is free on orders over £100; otherwise a flat rate applies, shown at checkout. Risk passes to you on delivery.

International orders may be subject to import duties, customs fees, VAT, sales tax and other local charges set by the destination country. These are not included in your order total, are not collected by us, and are the customer’s responsibility. Full detail is in our Shipping & Customs Policy.

You may return unused items in original condition within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the item price. Email hello@theproudlondon.co.ukto start a return; return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty. Faulty or incorrect items are refunded or replaced in full. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

We offer free lifetime repairs on manufacturing faults — the greenest bag is the one you never replace. Get in touch and we’ll help.

All branding, imagery, text and designs on this site belong to TheProudLondon and may not be reproduced without permission.

We’re responsible for losses you suffer as a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, but we are not liable for business losses or for events beyond our reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England & Wales.
